Who I Am
Twenty-plus years making motion graphics for PBS and NPR taught me one thing above everything else: the medium doesn't matter as much as the problem you're solving. I've built Emmy-winning show packages, designed broadcast websites before responsive layout existed, and composed original music with AI tools that didn't exist five years ago. The through-line hasn't changed — figure out what the audience needs, then build it.
What I Do
I'm not an expert in everything digital. I'm something more useful: a problem-solver who knows how to move across disciplines. Motion graphics, audio composition, web production, AI-assisted creation — I work where the project needs me to work.
I've built a prompting practice for music and lyrics that gets real, usable results — not generic output. The same method applies to image generation, workflow automation, and breaking complex problems into actionable parts. It's a skill set, not a shortcut.
The Work
Twenty years at Buffalo Toronto Public Media. Logo animations, show packages, broadcast websites, on-air graphics. Three PBS digital series. One NY Emmy — Compact History, 2025.
Before that, web and graphic design at Hamister Group — Buffalo Destroyers branding, event collateral, seasonal campaigns.
Outside the Work
I shoot photos, ride bikes, and have strong opinions about funk music. Prince is non-negotiable.
